    system build Ryzen for botting

I'm about to start another build for next month, has anyone tried the new Ryzen for botting yet?

Looking to get either the 1700x or the 1800x

My friend is using a 1800x. Very great new processor for handling bots and CPU intensive tasks. The higher clock speed on it really helps too!
You will be able to run quite a large about of bots with Ryzen's multi-threading performance (8 cores 16threads)

Not ideal for botting. Unless you're also using it as a main PC. Then that's just fine. It'll just come down to if you prefer AMD or Intel.

Why would you say it is not ideal for botting?

I currently use a couple i7 6700k, but i need something a bit stronger so i can multitask like youtube/websurfing

Is it worth to buy a completely different chipset just for Ryzen?

If you like intel cores I'd say i7 6900k and 7700k are pretty good.
