I have an Asus Rog G751JT laptop since I travel often. All I've done is replace the SATA II HDD with a SATA III Samsung SSD and change some startup/performance settings and it works great, plus it plays all my games on the highest graphics settings. How well the laptop is going to handle games also depends on what graphics card/processor/how much ram you have in it.
yes its good but don't expect max graphics, I have an Asus rog strix gl502vs with a 1070. These laptops are really good for gaming, check out this to see what frames you get on certain games since a gtx 1050 is somewhat limited, http://www.notebookcheck.net/Compute....html:GelHappy
