    Apparently blizzard is nerfing fan the hammer damage. Thoughts on this nerf?


    I reckon a cd would be better than nerfing the damage honestly.

    I don't think the problem is his ult. He literally can kill a tank with just stun right click .

        Yeah his stun + fan the hammer x2 combo is way too easy to pull off and is too rewarding, being able to kill tanks that easily is overpowered.
        but I'm a dirty Mcree player so I'll be sad to see him nerfed LOL

          I didn't say the problem was his ult... I said instead of nerfing fan the hammer's damage they should just put a cd on it.

          I agree with this, seeing fps pros play McCree is so satisfying. The amount of headshots they get from left clicks from long-medium range is so ridiculous.

          I wish I could aim that well.

          I agree with this but the main source of the problem here is being able to reload using his roll and using fan the hammer 2x. If you put like a 3-5sec cd on his right click then we can solve this problem. Also stun + fan the hammer is very unlikely to kill a tank unless they are already damaged or you somehow rng all the shots to the head.

            don't worry your aim won't matter until they get rid of 20 tick servers

              I don't understand what this 20 tick server thing is all about. Haven't really played any FPS seriously in the past. Only one was Garry's Mod but all I did was grief people.

                20 tick in layman terms basically means the that the server updates 20 times per second, essentially checking what you and the other people are doing every .05 seconds which leaves a lot of room for error, such as where you're aiming and shooting and where the other player actually is.

                In CS:GO for example valve matchmaking servers run at 64 tick while every third party league and tournament (esea/cevo/faceit/valve majors) run their servers at 128 tick, and because of the nature of FPS games it feels like a lot more things register on 128 tick servers.

                To a lot of FPS players the game feels unresponsive in general
